Vehicle requirements

In order to meet the standards and requirements of our clients, all vehicles used for Wynyard Bus Lines shore excursions must:

• Be accredited passenger vehicles (PPV)

• Have current Tasmanian registration and inspection

• Have seatbelts

• Air conditioning and heating

• Working public address (PA) system

• Guide microphone and spare microphone

Driver requirements

We request that all drivers:

• Hold current and valid drivers license appropriate to the vehicle being driven

• Be well presented and in uniform

• Are mindful of personal hygiene and body odour

• Drivers are not to smoke whilst at the wharf or in the presence of passengers/staff

• Arrive at the wharf no less than 30 minutes prior to the tour departure time

• Drivers are to advise Wynyard Bus Lines staff of any operational issues including breakdowns, passenger/guide issues or delays
